when will she be due???

wondered if anyone could tell me roughly how far pregnant my adoptee kitty is... she is huge!! babies are visibly seen moving in her... and felt she is very sleepy at moment, doesnt seem to be eating as much for past two days. i tried to add a pic of her on here but don't know if i did it right lol.

Re: when will she be due???

hi thanks for reply. yes i have a box, towels etc read up how to help her if i need too, her litter tray, she is on kitten food and milk as she was undernourished when i took her on.. she is going to have them in my bedroom so i can keep a close eye on her bless her. i keep saying if she gets any bigger she will pop! just hope she copes as she is only young, 10 mnths old, i remember when neighbours got her, they just moved and didn't bother taking her with them! shouldn't be allowed pets! :-(

Re: when will she be due???

Aww that's a shame, she's such a pretty little thing. Some people really shouldn't have pets
Still at least she's landed on her feet with you Good luck with the birth!

Re: when will she be due???

aw thank you, she certainly has landed well and i can't wait to get her spayed so she doesn't have to go through this again. ive heard it's 7 weeks after the kittens are born that she can be done, is this correct? if so she's being booked in asap.

Not a breeder so not sure when she can be spayed but, just thought I would mention that queens can call fairly soon after giving birth 2/3 weeks poss.even earlier,so be very careful that she doesnt get out before you get her spayed.

still no sign of labour but she is still off her food, she made me smile earlier laying on her back with all 4 paws in air! lol.. taking the weight off her... wish for her sake it would start soon as she is driving me mad pacing around lol... and keep purring in my face all night whilst i'm trying to sleep lol.

Re: when will she be due???

Poor lass, she looks fed up! 10 months old - far too young to have a litter. You did a good job taking her in; she's landed on her paws with you. Hopefully not too much longer - she looks ready!

Re: when will she be due???

yes her previous owners should never have a pet! makes me so mad. i agree 100% she is too young to be having babies and have been out today and brought all the equipment i may need incase she doesn't accept the babies.
as soon as i can i need her in the vets to have her vaccinations and be spayed. in her ears look filthy so maybe they will help get them cleaned out too. her previous home ( joined on to mine) has just had to be fumigated and it's taken 4 trucks to remove the rubbish. the poor cat has had a dreadful start to life but now she is living luxury with my posh little boy lol.
