URGENT - foster home needed!

Posting this everywhere we can as trying to get this out as widely as possible on the off chance that someone can help who may not have seen the postings on Facebook or elsewhere. Can anyone help please? Am asking on behalf of someone I know whose Selkirk Rex queen died last night undergoing a C-Section. 9 kittens born, 7 have, so far, survived but a foster mum is urgently needed. Norfolk area. If anyone can help I have contact details.

Thanks

Carol

Re: URGENT - foster home needed!

Hi, I have 2 lactatic queens with small litters but I'm in south wales. I am visiting wells-next-the-sea Norfolk on the weekend though. Suppose this is a long shot but if this suits let me know. My husband works in Norfolk and travells home on a monthly basis.

I don't know any breeders that could help but if you would like to find a rescue to take these on and hand rear them then feel free to email me at
kelly-joy@animallifelineuk.org
Please note rescues will want them signed over to them so you won't be able to get them back though.

Re: URGENT - foster home needed!

Update is that a foster mum has been found for 3 of the kittens and the breeder is hopeful that another can be found soon for the remaining 4.

Re: URGENT - foster home needed!

So sad the loss of mum and kittens run free at the bridge. I hope the remaining kittens thrive in their foster homes.

Good luck babies,

I couldnt find anyone for my kittens either so IVe hand reared them myself, Im glad that 3 babies have found homes, I do know of one person, her girl only had 2 or 3 and mum is over flowing with milk, would you like her number she is in london and offered me but my kittens were 3 weeks older than hers so it wasnt possible at the time.

Re: URGENT - foster home needed!

I read about this in my Turkish Van group. Must be the same breeder, all the details are the same. I must say the whole story made me cry. I hope a foster mum has been found and the kittens make it. What a sad, sad thing to have happened

Re: URGENT - foster home needed!

Thanks everyone but London going to be too far away and the breeder doesn't drive so relies on someone driving her.

The tiny girl died today Breeder did say she thought they might have lost her anyway as she was very tiny and from such a big litter but still so sad.
