Actually i call my mom a lot of things ''mummy''/''mom''/''ocasama''(usually i call her ocasama, english is my first language but since i'm almost constantly speaking in japanese some japanese words come out naturally while i'm speaking english -constant japanese because i am learning it/have japanese friends learning english it's easier to remember if i apply it to every day speaking)
just a question about that, how does the word mom relate to being in the us and mum/mummy relate to being in the uk?
this has actually been said before (by some creepy girl who was stalking my fiance but still. she said "and i know youre in the UK too! you said 'mum' on one of your facebook posts" <<<yeaah that creeped me out but basically.. what is it O.O?!?!!?! i only usually say mummy if i am sick/clingy, and mum if i'm mad at her for something... other than that its usually mom or ocasama O_O
To be fair we have members all over the world. And as K337 said Mom is usually associated with USA.

If this is in the UK I would be reporting it to RSPCA or at least asking them for advice. If theyre registered breeders could you report them to whoever theyre registered with?

Ive never heard of pedigree breeeders killing their kittens for any reason. As catgaga said it should go against everything they stand for Very sad.

As for killing kittens, sounds dreadful. I couldn't imagine any of the breeders I've met doing anything but the best for their kittens. I have heard of dog breeders culling their puppies if they show bad temperament but it could just be a rumour (I hope!).
O_O i have no idea aha ...i always thought people called their mothers whatever felt natural for them to call them.
That's disgusting though (about puppies) i always thought that the best time to change a dogs behavior is when it was young, surely they'd be showing aggression because of the way the breeder reared them?
"it's not the dog it's the owner" fits here i think.. well also maybe not the dog but the breeder comes into it aswell. -__-
