Just a thought, and I might have missed it if someone already mentioned it. But how about you get one as a pet first? That way you can get to know the breed inside out and can be more honest with potential buyers about their bad points. (and all breeds have bad points....) Ok, It might set you back a few years but the experiance would be more than worth it. In the mean time you can really get to know the breed, and other breeders. Plus raise money for the venture. Unless you have a close mentor as mentioned above, breeding for the sake of, "I like the breed"isnt a good way to go. "Why?" is the first question.
