Reassurance Needed Please

My siamese girl is on day 55 so not long to go - but I still cannot see or feel any movement. She is fine in herself, eating, sleeping and playing. If I try to go to feel all she does is purr, hence her whole body purrs so what might look like movement is her purring!

I do not want to take her to the vets as her carry box and the car really stressess her out.

I know a few of you have said sometimes you do not see or feel anything, but I am worried. Any replys would be welcome.

Thank you

Hi Cathy, i really wouldnt worry too much, if there was a problem you would see signs of it and by what your saying she is acting just fine, when our Ragdoll girl had her litter we couldnt feel any movement until about 2 days before she delivered them, im sure she will be fine, plz keep us informed , best wishes.......CHRIS.

Hi Chris

Thanks for this. I have been panicing like mad, would hate anything to go wrong with her or her babies.

Will keep you informed.

Thanks once again

Re: Reassurance Needed Please

Hi Cath. i fully understand you panicking , lol no one was worse than us here , the gestation period in cats is usually about 63/65 days so you could still have a week to go yet, but dont worry as i said it was only about 2 days before our girl gave birth that we could feel any movement, you will certainly know when she is almost ready as you will see a big change in her behaviour, again good luck........CHRIS.

Re: Reassurance Needed Please

Thank you Cathy, they both went to the same home and we chat to their owners at least once a week , they are doing so well and are just gorgeous, the hardest part of it all is when they leave you and go to their new homes as after 13/14 weeks you are so attached to them lol...thx again............CHRIS.
