My kittens go to new homes :(

My kits go to new homes on sat

Im so upset as Ive really bonded to all of them, esp 2 of them, the people are really nice so Im not worried, but Im finding it harder and harder to say 'goodbye' to my babies.

Im REALLY tempted to 'accidently' not sell one and say that he didnt sell....his such a lap cat and he doesnt leave you alone, he follows the partner and sits ont he side watching him in the bath. When giving the kittens some chicken he didnt get any as they growled/smacked him away!

So the partner ewent outside got loads of chicken picked him up and let him eat all of it while holding him in his arms, So cute, his the partners fav to.

We cant keep all of them though, esp another boy...*sigh*

Re: My kittens go to new homes :(

I know it's a wrench, but believe me, four five month olds with not a sniff from anyone is worse!

Re: My kittens go to new homes :(

I have some of mine going this week - the homes they are going to are fab but it doesn't make the parting any easier - you get so so attached. Everytime I think that's it, last litter, I can't do this anymore - so emotionally draining...but then being a part of the kittens first 14 weeks is so special....

Love it! Looks like he is trying to be firm and to resist their charms (crossed arm pose) but they aren't having none of it!!!

TB - this is something I am definitely not looking forward to. At least you had the chance to get to know them and enjoy them grow, though.

Re: My kittens go to new homes :(

I know I still watch themg row through pics, I think its more upsetting with my boy ill at the mo, and the amount of timewasters ive had, I was speaking to another breeder today who described it as 'soul destroying' and she is totally right it is, and it does get you down.

Many times ive said 'this is it! no more! im done! no more kittens!!'
Then I buy a new girl or a boy!!
we are crazy!
