Hiya the cookws chicken method is ok for about 7-10days but not long term, how about trying hi-life or allplaws?

Re: exotic shorthair with ibs im sure

The first thing to do is have her to the vets to rule out other possibilities. Including a test which means providing a sample of poo for 3 days running. Then if all that comes back clear you can have a look at her diet.

In the mean time some Prokolin won't hurt

agree with aurelia on here, there are a number of diseases and illness' which could cause this problem... better to rule those out first!

Hi and welcome as others have advised, you need to take your cat to the vet for testing of stool samples. It's not safe to 'self diagnose'. It could be a number of things, some of which are easily treated, but stool tests do need to be done. Feeding boiled chicken in the short term is okay while you are waiting for the results of the stool tests. Long term, this will not be sufficient for your kitten as it's not nutritionally complete.
My kitten has had diarrhoea for the past 9 weeks on and off. He has been hospitalised twice, had stool and blood tests, all negative. His diet is now being very carefully monitored after I eliminated everything else. To assume your kitten has IBS without checking out other options first isn't really in your kitten's best interests. You don't mention what you're currently feeding your kitten. Please let us know what food she has and the outcome of the stool tests. Good luck

ps - I think you might get more responses if you put the question in the cat health and nutrition section.
