take her to a vet to be checked... if u dont want her to have the kittens you still may have time to get her spayed ( cat abortion ) sounds harsh but its cheeper then bringing another load of unwanted kittens into the world.

if you are gonna let her go full term she will need 4 times the amount of food ( a high meat content complete food ) as well as kitten milk ( toplife )

you will need to get her a kittening box for when shes due and now keep her inside so she dont get ill.

you need to read intensivly on pregnancy in cats and what to look out for.

encourage her to eat lots and frequently.

also stock up on flea stuff for when the kittens come along ( no one wants to buy a kitten or take a kitten covered in fleas ) as well as worming stuff.

you need to research in handling them weighing them etc.

you need to keep the kittens with the mother until they are at least 10 weeks old to ensure they are fully weaned. and also dont let the kittens outside either too many nasty diseases out there ( cat flu being one )

hope this helps

Re: hi need help

Unless the cat is expecting a litter so huge that they will be premature and all die, there is no way she will be visibly pregnant after two weeks. So, when was she calling, when did she get out before?

Re: hi need help

Hi, I run a cattery and grooming parlour, I also breed Bengal, Siamese and Serengeti kittens/cats.

If your cat has got pregnant, you will have approx 63 -64 days from when she was lined, during this time she will have various needs, which you will have to provide.

Firstly her food intake will increase, give her as much as she needs, most pregnancy's progress without any major problems, if there is any spotting of blood which is noticeable in the litter tray it is a sign she could be self terminating.

However she will more than likely just progress along, she will require a nesting box, this should be large enough for her to move around in as they tend to move around during birth, it should also have easy access for you incase you need to help, place the nesting box somewhere private and quiet, away from the hussle and bussle of family life. In the last six years of breeding show cats i have had approx 300 kittens, and I have had many problems regarding them from breach births to a mother rejecting her litter and having to hand rear. If you have any questions or need any advice I am there for you.

Re: hi need help

As she only got out and was possibly mated 2 weeks ago just get her booked in to be spayed. Without waffling on and going into detail about cats' pregnancies - at this stage, even if she was mated, she isn't truly deemed to be 'pregnant' so don't feel badly on the "termination" issue.
