Re: Suggestions For Good Cat Club Please
This is a good question for those that show/breed Siamese
There are single breed orientated clubs or then there are all breed regional clubs. For example, I started off with the Colourpoint Persian club and then expanded to lots of different clubs depending on which shows I entered. To start off you may be better with a club specific to Siamese and Orientals ![]() |

Re: Suggestions For Good Cat Club Please
Ideally yes, but if you can get a signature on a form earlier, why not? The whole procedure takes so long anyway. There is no limit on the number of clubs you can join, so at the same time you could also be applying to the club you really want to join
![]() There is normally a new member application in most show schedules so if nothing else it gets your first foot on the ladder Most cat clubs want as many new member as they can get, just to keep going and get ongoing support. |

Re: Suggestions For Good Cat Club Please
i became a member of the havana and ori lilac club after breeding a havana. i sold the kitten via the club and was vey useful. I also get a news letter thing etc...
i then became a member of the lilac point cat club, the sec is the breeder of my girl and she signed my prefix form. which i still have as i'm not going to breed. i've also joined the siamese cat club. |

Re: Suggestions For Good Cat Club Please
If you join a club with their show schedule you save about a quid normally on entry fee, not much I know but its there, and also if you enter their show you get sent a show schedule as a reminder for the next year show without having to send an s.a.e. for one yourself.
