Whats the Record?

Hey guys,

I was just sitting here thinking about how many kittens one cat might have in a litter? When my girl Roxy had 5, by the time she got to the last kitten she was exhausted! She cleaned all the others as they came out, but when she got to the last one she cleaned the kittens face and then laid down for about half an hour before cleaning the kitten up properly.
I think if another kitten had come along, then she just wouldn’t have been able to push it out.

So really my question is, what’s the most kittens any of your cats have had in one litter? And how did the mum cope?

Also, on a side note, what is the most any of yours have weighed when they came out?

7 from Rosie and she coped fine too and they were all average or above weights, sometimes we've had a small for our liking but still average weight baby who has then gone on to be a donkey All our girls have had between 2 and 8 and have been amazing mums

WOW giving birth to 2 human lads was doable-but 14-must have been a bit stressful and i'll bet she's a like a bucket now
