I fell in love with them the first time i saw them, i already keep birds, and looking after it wouldnt be a problem, but they are so expensive. the one in the Centre down the road from here is £1000 but its a rip off as they dont even know how old she is., i would love to get one from a baby, but you would leave it in your will to someone, well i would anyway. lol

Re: African Grey

She's beautiful!

You'd expect to pay arounf £500 to £650 for a hand reared Congo African Grey from a good breeder.

They are extremely intelligent and it's like having a toddler with a chain saw loose in your house, nothing is off limits!

Re: African Grey

They can range in size, the males do tend to be bigger. Just like a toddler they need a firm 'hand' and nipping should be nipped in the bud. When you know how to acomplish that, you'll let me know won't you

My Grey Izzy says. 'Be nice, don't bite!' Shame she doesn't listen to her own advice
