Ahhh see all mine are house birds, i would have thought if you had a heated birdroom, the zebs would have had no problems breeding Same with the Bengalese I know Budgies and Tiels prefer the Warmer weathers,

Ive not got as many Species as you, I got zebs, bengs, tiels, and budgies, and one Canary, who seems to talk to them all..LOL in Fact some of the new zeb finch cock chicks are now practicing there songs, and they have some canary chirps in there as well..LOL and the Budgies now sound lke Giant Zebra finches..LOL charlie sometimes joins in and he sings like a zebra at times.

Re: Dscovered this morning

its just me,when im plodding out to the birdroom and back again in the bitter cold it just doesnt feel right to have them breeding, i do sometime let the budgies have the odd clutch only because they seem so much bigger and hardier than the other birds, its just the way i feel its stupid really

I dont thnk thats stupid at all, i think it shows how much you do care about your birds, once these final lots of eggs are hatched, all my nest boxes and ferns are coming out, its time they all had a rest for a while.

The last time i used to get up in the morning and find eggs in food tray and Baths..LOL but it does control them somewhat.

I have the tiels and Budgies, but not breeding them as yet. until i have more room ..LOL if i win the lotto, then the sky is the limit, I`ll have a place so big i`ll open to the public and have a walk around area and charge admission...LOL hahaha
