I'm new to this forum.I have a passion for dogs,mainly cocker spaniels.I do love my mixed breed very much though.I have always been interested in small birds,and with some persuasion from my sister,got 3 budgies and a cockatiel.She has sparked the love for birds in me,and i love my little feathered friends! I'm interested in breeding them,not so much for sale,but for my own and for her.She will be guiding me,ensuring happy healthy clutches of colorful keets.It will be exciting to see the colors I will get.My cockatiel boy is Miller,and my 2 green opalines are Frito and Cheeto.I have a beautiful male named Chip too.Hope you like the pics!!!

oh im def gonna breed them.have 2 green opaline girls,my male is with them both right now,when im ready ill separate one til hes done,then switch him to breed with the other.I have a flight cage ill be using that has room for 6 breeder boxes.im gonna put them on seperate sides.I cant wait.I'll be trading babies with someone for different bloodlines and colors.we're gona breed the same time.

awww im so jealous! i have just had to rehome my darling cockatiel as she got too attached to my partner and me and kept laying eggs which was dangerous for her health. she has gone to a lovely home with other birdies.
she went a couple of hours ago and i feel lost without her. Shes normally sitting on my shoulder right now while im on PF

aww i feel your pain.so hard whether its dog, bird or even hamster.they become part of your family.I have a male cockatiel.I'm new to bird breeding.I wouldnt want to get into something that would jeopardize a life of any sort.I'm going to start with my keets though.I will have an expert breeder help me every step of the way to ensure the healthiest happy little chicks.And decide afterwards if I wana try breeding cockatiels.
