I should imagine it's hard to keep the tails in good condition on the Alexandrines

actually the tails are so bendy and plyable they are fine ,they moult once a year and thats when they lose them and new feathers etc grow.

My Harris hawk is out on long term loan controlling the rabbit population. Sky the Saker falcon is just for fun. Kane the Gyr/saker hybrid is just starting to hunt now. He was just for fun but I got bored

I like to see them flying free. I kept a colony of budgies at liberty years ago and then a pair of conures until they started to move out of the nest box and into a hole in the chimney of the church opposite

lol,i do feel guilty at times with my birds not being able to have long aviaries,but if you saw my garden you would understand,they seem happy and always breed,would be great for them to be able to free fly,but not with the amount of sparrow hawks around here.
