Some pictures of two of my little people. Summer (the lorikeet) has gone to live in an aviary as he had been getting more and more unhappy with pet bird life, until he decided to try and remove Sweet Pea's wing They'd always been best of friends so that was rather a shock, so when a friend offered to pair him up with their lonely female I thought that would be best, and he certainly seems a lot happier.. I miss my little colourful Summer though

Anyway, Sweetie:

Shortly after her attack.. It doesnt look much, but it was right through to the bone






Unfortunately its left her with some nerve damage that the vet thinks wont be fixable, so she cant fly and the wing droops a bit (its improving though!!), but she doesnt seem bothered in the slightest Hoping she wont have to have the wing off (vet mentioned that if it becomes a problem), its unlikely to get that bad but we'll see.

Nasty wound that....I have two conures...did have a pair but the male escaped a year ago....The hen is left and Robbie my other male.
They have seperate cages though.Even though they have been next to each other for 3 years they would still kill each other if I let them out together...
