NIKKID is on a distinguished road
My Japha bird

This is a photo of my lovely Japha. He's a senegal and is now about 19 years old. I've had him since he was a tiny chick with a huge beak and he's adorable. I'm puzzled though because I keep getting conflicting information on the possible life expectancy of sennies, varying from 25-50 years so if anyone knows what the actual life expectancy is I would be grateful. He still thinks he's a baby though and hurtles through life at about 90mph. At the moment he's helping me train Nefer, our new kitten, to respect his space.

I knew that beak would come in useful one day.

I don't think anyone can answer that question...parrot ages can vary so much.
