Can`t believe a week has flown by already !!!

Billy LOVES oranges, and seems to prefer ripping up banana skin to actually eating the fruit daft bird.

His all time favourite fruits are pear/apple/orange so far... going to try him on more fruits next week tho... see what he thinks of pineapples and mango

He loves all fruits it is safe to say
It seems the juicier the better... he loves to pierce the fruit with his beak and lap up the juice.
His such a little sweetie, I love the purring noise he makes when I offer him fruit

Grape
Mango

seem to be the favourites, which get the best purring and he really seems to savour these ones... others he has a few bites and drops.

He also loves chips (made from fresh spuds and oven baked.. no fat/oil/salt etc), he can`t seem to get enough of the fuffy insides
If he sees us sat at the table with chips he comes over and steals them off our plate and gets abit mad if we try to pull them back off him lol he just clings on and does this angry purr, almost like a growl

what a smasher. try summer fruits too. when not in season get frozen, defrost then watch the bird lap them all up, yum yum, that is ofcourse if bird likes them. my bird also likes chicken. put some grit through food, even though you will prob have cuttle fish etc. i also have iodine blocks in both my birds cages. a friend of mine is in an exotic bird society and i always get great advice on my parrot from her. both my birds love their toys. i try to keep them as interested in diff things as much as poss so they don't get bored.

in the morning my kakarikis grabs my nose and puts her beak right up to mine, i say it's morning kisses, but who knows, eh. my kakarikis loves cheesy puffs, not a favourite of mine, but my OH. i'll try to upload a picture of her eating 1, so that you ca get a wee laugh at it. she likes alot more food stuff that
