Today We have our birdie
today our family had an addition of a baby (12 week old ) sun conure
We have named him Jasper and he is sweet and cuddly, and beautiful

Sadly, Jasper died at lunchtime today. we were heartbroken, he died in my hands as I was trying to rescucitate him.
On the sunny side, I found another sunconure in Swansea today, who has come home with us. Not fully tame, but just needs to build confidence. Please dont think me heartless. I miss my cuddly Jasper terribly, and although this little darling won't replace him in my heart, I hope to grow to love him/her as much as I loved Jasper. We think Jasper had starved himself, I tried everything to get him to eat, but a bird that tame ( really really silly tame) i think he was missing his breeder lady who I know spoilt him rotten as I would have. I still can't believe my little Jasper isnt here any more, but this little one who will be named once the DNA results are back next week, will be worshipped and spoilt too. R.I.P. my little Darling, I'll never forget you. xxx

Im so sorry about Jasper. I would go back to his breeder and inform them, he could of had heart problems or anything. I have 2 senegals who are silly tame and have never heard of a bird starving itself in its new home. Congratulations on your new addition.
