Sometimes rainbow lorikeets (about cockatiel sized) come up for sale, but black capped lories like Ruby are very endangered and are rarely hand reared as most of the babies born are swapped between breeders. They arent brilliant pets as they are very messy due to their liquid diet (it comes out projectile!!) so there just isnt a market for them unfortunately
 Ruby was hand reared specifically for me but its not done often.
