he is a whiteface cockateil, which means all yellow red melanin feathers will be white. therefore there will be no orange cheekpatch ever. and as it happens whiteface pied birds are notoriously difficult to sex. if he produces a mating call it a boy...thats the only indication possible.
beautiful bird by thw way. i love whiteface pieds they are my favourite of the cockateil mutations, ( apart from silver and platinum, which i have never seen in real life ) beautiful
