canaries deaths please help!

the canaries are gaping for air, loose dropping, then die-ing after about 3 days any information would be appreciated! thanks. p.s i am writing for my Dad so this is all i know at the moment!

get as much information as you can, is there a build up of droppings around the back end? are they outdoor or indoor?, did they all get sick the same time? did he notice one ill before the rest?

its sounds like a severe case of air sac mite but i maybe wrong

this happened to my grandads canaries, it turned out the neighbour had been spraying his back garden with a really strong weedkiller and their little lungs couldnt take it.

he was devastated, he has kept birds for years and he lost the lot of them in a matter of days. my grandad has passed away now but towards the end he stopped talking.. except when you asked him how the birds were... then he would talk non stop! isnt it funny?!

sorry went off topic a bit there.. Squady i hope your birdies are ok??
