Smelly

I only have budgie and his cage is smelly.
I keep clean but it get worse every day.
he has a few toys and the only thing new is perch.
I put in just a week ago. other than that he fine and
chirpy.

I haven't wrapped it in sandpaper. His feet smell too.
I do clean it ...cage is clean but the perch it stink bad.

I think I get another perch for cage, this one stink bad bad bad.
I get more in morning.
why do perch stink? only 8 day I put it in.
I have to wash budgie feet every day???

A boy budgie. I get him new perch old one stink bad.
It better now he has new perch.
I will make photo and show perch. I get for him.
I try tomorrow. smell is not any more in his cage.

new perch is smelling bad today. i think i cut some branch for cage
is fruit tree branch ok

I used to have a budgie for a pet when i was about 14, we went out for the day and came back to find him as stiff as a board on the bottom of his cage bless him, his name was bobby

Do you only have one perch?

You need a minimum of two. How big is the cage?

Neither him nor his perch should smell.

I put in new perch. old one smell bad
new perch start to smell..I took picture of new perch
I will put on computer later when i have time.
i think fruit branch better for him.

you should be putting sandpaper (from pet shop,not shed)in the bottom of the cage,sanded perches will help keep feet clean,claws short.if feet are allowed to be dirty he will gt a nasty infection.

his feet are good and sandpaper is down it just perch that smell
I even wrap in sandpaper but still stinky through it
he like to peck at perch but i try stop him
