Bird Soup !

Firstly i would like to apologise if this is a repeated thread .

My lovebirds get clean water everyday , however they do love to make their own 'Bird Soup' in another bowl of water or birdbath .

The usual Millet spray and stems and other seeds etc , getting all stewed up in the bowl .

Are they trying to sprout seeds ? is it safe ? how long can i leave it for ?

I usually leave it 2 - 3 days before cleaning it before it gets too smelly !

Thanks to everyone for reading/ replying in advance

Richie

Re: Bird Soup !

Don't leave it in...seeds mould quickly if they remain wet, and that can kill birds.
