canary has a lump near beak and red around eye

hi there our canary has a lump near its beak and red around the eye and he keeps rubbing his face on its perch but he cant shut his beak properly and not eating very well can anyone shed any light on what it might be thanks

You need an avian vet.That's not a problem can be solved on a forum.

I agree with Poohdog I breed canaries and from what you have said it needs veterinary treatment.good luck
