Re: Desperately Seeking a Crow!!

I had a crow as a pet as I grew up and he was amazing, very friendly with everyone he knew yet cautious of people he didnt know.
He came to me as a wounded fledgling,I nursed him back to health and even got him to the point where he could go outside free when ever he wanted.
He would sometimes be gone for hours at a time but always turned up .
He learnt to say quite a few words aswell.
I had him for 11 yrs then one day he never came home.

Re: Desperately Seeking a Crow!!

I knew a jackdaw when I was a little girl, he was free to fly wherever he wanted & lived at a nearby wildlife sanctuary, I remember being terrified of him as he used to chase me & peck my wellies. I don't think they would make evry good house pets though!

Exclamation Re: Desperately Seeking a Crow!!

Speaking on behalf of all crows
I would like to know why anybody would want to cage us up.
I like to fly free
I like to crow LOUDLY
I am not house trained so I poop alot anywhere thats handy.
I eat lots of different things and like to pick my own

Please leave us alone if you want to help us why not contact your local Rescue Centre and offer to help out there instead.

Charlie Crow

Yeah, me too. Don't know how long she's banned. I gather she's gone to another forum temporarily(?). Apparently, we're allowed to mention this, but I don't know if the name of the forum has to be censored.
