hi, thanks for taking the time to look! i have two sun conure parrots that unfortunatly finances dictate i need to sell. i had them as a christmas present from my partner and i love them to bits already but i also have a level head and understand that the mortgage and council tax have to be paid. no point having 2 birds and no home for them.
their names are Jack and Jill, they are about one and a half now. they were bought for me because A, i love birds and B, i do enjoy the breeding process, watching the birds incubate and hatch the babies, watching them feed them, seeing them grow into fine young happy, healthy birds. they are semi tame, will sit on your shoulders or hands no problem, as long as they decide to. they not very co-operative if you ask them to step up yet, although i have been trying to work on that. Jack is quite protective of his woman, bless him, and is quite forward and bolshy, and has been known to try attacking my cats (from inside his cage of course) whereas Jill is curious but cautious, maybe timid is a better word. she will also sit with you, but refuses all attempts to step up atm. i can't say that they are good with children, but they haven't attacked mine. they just ignor the kids, which is better than attacking!
they are on a diet of fruity seed mix and fresh fruit and veg. fruit on day 1, veg the next, and so on. fresh water (everyday of course, well, i for one wouldn't like to drink stale water!!!) they have seed bell treats, love weetabix for breakfast, or cheerios

love a bit of yoghurt, but grapes, satsumas and sweetcorn seem their favorites. they come out of the cage everyday for a fly, but in reality either sit on my shoulder or on the top of the kitchen units, watching everything lol! they have a shower twice a week, which jack loves and will sit on his swing with his head right down and wings slightly opened to allow me to spray him with the water, till he looks like a drowned rat!!!
if i have been babbling on, then forgive me, they are my babies and i could yap about them for ages, but finances, as i said earlier, say i have to sell them. i have been told that a reasonable price for them, the cage (which is taller than i am) and a big tub of seed is about £600 to £800. all offers will be seriously considered. the birds can be viewed if needed, but i live in s.wales and i have no transport!
