The great escape

On Sat., when my husband was putting new food in Dudley's cage, he made a run for it. Well, more like a jump. He landed on the floor (his wings had been clipped before we got him). We have two big dogs so had to get them out quickly. We have only had Dudley three weeks and he is uneasy with us putting our hands in his cage to change food and water. We thought that he would go nuts outside, but he didn't. He just roamed around a small area. We put a trail of corn leading back to his cage and after awhile he went back in it.

Sunday, we had him out again. All he did was sit on my husband and walk all over him. He was rarely on the ground even though he walked out of his cage by himself. He snarls a lot when we are in his cage so we though he didn't like us, but now we have hope!

We have some pics, but I don't know how other people can access them. I will figure it out though. Just picture a beautiful, grey, organged cheek goof and you will have her/him pictured!! Dudley is 5 months old today!!
