I have spiders in my bird room. Many of the long legged creatures have taken up residence in the same room with my feathered friends. Obviously, I can't spray an insecticide to get rid of them. The parrots aren't bothered by them but I can't stand the things. Any suggestions?

I read somewere that if you put conkers around the room the spiders will go away. I've never tried si don't know if it actually works. But I don't know if the conkers would harm your parrots so you would have to make sure they were where they couldn't get at them.


Oops just read you are located in USA so I don't know if you get conkers over there.

Ah....now I know. We call conkers chestnuts. We have those.
