Broken Feathers

Heya,

I was just wondering CJ keeps cleaning his feathers over and over again but last night he broke one of his tails feathers which just dangles down lol are you able to pull it out or should i wait for him to just do something to remove it, i dont want to hurt him

Hiya,

not sure, what is CJ?

My Budgie has a weird tail feather, and it's so tempting to just pluck it but I wont.... as it's attached I might hurt him, lol. I'm just leaving it untill he maults and hopefully it will fall out, or he'll pluck it out himself.

It will just fall off hes probably moulting. Ive head that people who show budgies sometimes pull all the tail out and let it grow back to make sure its all straight. They also pluck the spots on the faces to make them even on each side.

AH CJ is my baby cockatiel :P he is fine now i noticed he pulled it out after noticing it earlier on
