Hi everyone, my female love bird has laid her second clutch of eggs,hopefully they should hatch sometime this week(the first lot did'nt)if these don't should
i take the nesting box out of the aviary to give her a rest?i'm a bit worried
they might get cold at night, we do live in Spain, but temp can be low at this
time of year.

is this her 2nd batch this year???? if they dont hatch remove the nest box leave her for about4 -6 weeks then replace the nest box. 1 thing to do, when she is not sitting on the eggs hold the eggs to the light if there a dark shade inside bin them if there a glowing orange there ok last thing you want is for her to be sitting on dud eggs

Hi thanks for that, it's not her second batch this year, the last was Dec.
I will take the box out though after this.
