Re: african grey dilema

Hello, this is a situation that plays its self out again and again. Don't trust breeders or anybody, but trust your own gut feeling. Now as with his behaviour I would keep him and work with him to earn his trust. You already have stepping up, and he is already trying to speak, so trust me your already ahead of the game. As for babies being ready to go and there being no work involved with training them, not true. Since they are babies they well need some one that can provide consistent training with much patience and time. So, you have to work with your bird and earn his trust. May I ask if you have had any prior experience with these types of birds. This is really important to know. Also there are some bird shelters that have all types of birds looking to find a new forever home, and sometimes it has nothing to do with behavioural problems but that the owner has passed on and the unfortunate thing is they end up there. You may find the bird of your dreams there that is already tamed and can speak and has many years left for you to share with each other.

Pm- me if you would like so more info.
