hey all now i always thought bird were supposed to be scared of cats and flly away well not my bird. if my cats go near his cage and put a paw there or show interest im up and about to get them off and hes seen them off allready. The one day i got him out in a room away from the cats and my one cat managed to get in as my bf came through the door and my cockatiel went into dive bomb mode. he landed on the carpet and decided to chase my cat biting her tail. i think my cats are more scared of him he only has to give them a look and they know dont mess with timmy haha

Both my cats & dogs are terrified of our parrot. One of the dogs had a peck on the nose from her as a warning for getting too close to her cage & since then they've kept well clear.

Mind you I'm a bit scared of her at times when she's angry!

Hawksport -
My cockatoo hates the cats - some of them see her as lunch and some see her as something to run away from!! If I take her outside for a fly around she dive bombs them!!
