Bird transferring.. Stressful?
Hi everyone!!
Some of you might know that I had a new bird aviary, BuT it seems like the birds in it (crimson rumped waxbills, pin tailed whydah and a pair of weaver birds which I don't know exactly the name of this species is) seem not get along very well especially the whydahs and the weavers they tend to argue over perches and the food dish. But as it happens I just sold my pigeons leaving thier aviary empty, so i cleaned the pigeons' aviary and added some big branches that look like small trees and I covered the floor with new sand. The pigeons aviary is about 2 meters high and 4 meters wide which is ALOT bigger than the finches Aviary.
So the Question is: Is transferring finches from an aviary to another too stressful for them? And should I get someone to do this for me or not? Because I don't want the birds to get afraid of me and hate me ?
