African Grey question?

have noticed recently that my AG spends alot of its time on the floor of its large cage is there any reason for it?

Is it all fluffed up and it's eye close shut? Try to contact an avian veterinarian.

Agree with Drake - if the behavior is out of the ordinary then contact a vet, most parrots don't use the bottom of their cage unless they are foraging or playing with toys, so a bird that is just sitting on the bottom or spending time doing nothing on the floor is a sick bird. Are his poops normal is he eating/drinking etc? Let us know how you get on with the vet.
