Angry Quaking Duck

Hi, wondering if anyone can help. My duck lost her mate about 6 weeks ago due to old age. She was fine at the time but for the past week she has been quaking all the time and I am worried that my neighbours will start complaining. I am not sure if she is lonely or just attention seeking. Any ideas on how I can get her to quieten down? thanks
