Vegetarian Raptor

i heard of a lion being vegetarian and was wondering if a bird of prey could be raised as one too

err, never heard of one being a veggie, do you mean you would purposely not feed it meat as opposed to it not liking it? I'm not sure this would be a good idea. Carnivores are designed to be just that, carnivorous. I think you would be opening yourself up for trouble with vitamin & mineral deficiencies & your bird would probably fail to thrive, after all, it is a bird of PREY!

If they eat only veg in the wild then they should be fed veg. But if they would normaly eat prey species then they need to be fed meat.

As for the lion im sure it wasn't by its own choice it was fed veg.
