hi, just starting out with canaries, have built an avairy onto the side of a birick shed the shed measures 6ft x 4ft and the avairy is 6ftx6ft and 7ft high , would like to know how many i could keep in it and how many males should i have , not wanting to breed yet until i feel comfortable with it ,

I didnt think you could put more than one male in with females as they will fight. Ive always been told 3 females to a male. but im not a bird keeper . My mate had 3 females to her male and he did just fine.
