Question Cuttlebone grated???

It's not really important, but can you grate/file ect, millet and put it in your birds food if they don't seem to be interested in the actual cuttlebone?? I noticed it on another forum and was just wondering.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Cuttlebone grated???

You worried about your birds again?...just give them a cuttle bone ...they'll chew on it if they want.A pot of oystershell grit wouldn't go amiss...but there's no reason to think your birds are lacking in calcium.

No, I wasnt really worried, as they do eat theirs, I was just wondering because it was on another forum. I'm just curious, . I was wondering about the eggshell though.
