Anyone???

Hiya,

I was just wondering if anyone near me had a heated ourdoor avairy or a indoor avairy and would be intrested in rehoming a Golden Mantled Rubino Rosella?

I rescued her about a year ago now and before that she was kept in a travel cage. Once with me she went into a bigger cage but after doing research on her after i got her i found she is suppost to be an avairy bird really so would be looking to rehome her to an avairy. But i understand at this time of year in the cold she would have to go into a heated avairy or an indoor one. I think its time she went in one now. So if anyone can help let me no

Thanks for reading

Re: Anyone???

Where are you?. I would take her
This is the right time of year to get a bird aclimatised to an aviary. I would keep it in the indoor heated bit until it gets warmer and the frosts have gone and then let it out in the day. Eventually it would be ok to let it do its own thing.
