Hello everyone, I normally hang out in the dog section! I run a business as a behaviourist and massage therapist and we have an online pet store stocking dog products

I have just left work and on 2011 we are expanding the online store to be a full pet store, so I am doing some research around what products you buy for your birds and which brands you use, from food, to bedding, to health products to toys - basically anything you can think of!

just want to get a flavour of what suppliers I should be looking at :-)

I will research some of the brands I use later, but for now I will just tell you what items I buy for my beloved birdies!

Cuttlefish/cuttlebone-whatever you want to call it
Millet
Bird perches
Bird swings
Bird fruit bars
Cages-obviously
Sandpaper-different sizes
Bird harnesses
Bird leashes
Bird toys and other things

sorry but the only brand I could find was the one on the edge of my birds cage which is 'PPD pet product distribution Pets come first'. It might be of some use.

Hi, I have an African Grey and I buy Rob Harvey Premium Parrot Food & Johnston & Jeff Low Sunflower Food & mix them together so that he gets all the things he likes without too much sunflower which is like a junk food to them.

I also buy lots of parrot toys on line for him to destroy & chew!! A lot of these come from a company called Northern Parrots.
