Question Male or female?

My budgies 2 years old now, and he was sold as a male, however I had my doubts but it doesn't matter what sex he was as I loved him anyway...

His cere was a pale blue colour... but now it's changed and it's pretty much just white?

I've questioned this before on the forum and people have said they think he's a girl, I just wondered now with his cere being white, if any more people could give me an idea?!

This was when I first got him, you can see the cere is a blue colour.

Then it went a bluey white colour...

And now it's just white!

From reading various websites it's looking as though Harley may be a girl?

Re: Male or female?

Thanks for replying

Wish it was easier to tell lol.

When he was with my previous budgie they didn't get along (well they did, but used to have fights aswell) and she was deffinately a female - I heard two female budgies wont get along, which is another reason why I'm questioning it

i had 2 females that used to kiss, and 2 male.....the females are more highly strung though.

Re: Male or female?

It is almost certainly male. If you are not sure, it is possible to get a DNA test done. Not sure how you go about this though.
