are they nice as in generally friendly birds? thinking of getting a pair!

Dunno if they are anythink like parrots!
but my friend has a parrot called rodney!
And to me he seems harder work then my dogs!

She is always going on about not stressing him etc!! She does not leave him on for long periods of time! She turns the light on a certain times! She cannot move his cage etc etc (and his cage is massive - big enough for me and a couple of mates!



Would be intereted hearing what the bird people say!

well its a toss up between rosa bourkes, hand tame budgies, linolated parakeets, parrotlets, or love birds! anything of that size really

Hand reared parrotlets make nice pets but they are usually better as single birds.

Conures are nice, Nandays can be NOISEY. If you put the time in that one should tame down nicely.

there is a local small bird auction near me soon so will wait for that and see what happens!

conures are real characters and can talk but can also shriek which is quite noisy mine do it if someone comes in that doesnt like them they seem to sence it and are as noisy and annoying as they can be till that person goes Parrotlets are very sweet and quiet birds .Whatever you are getting try and get a hand reared one as they are much better pets.
