timneh grey

hi i have a grey and have been told not to take it away with us on weekends or hols until it has been with us in the home for a year is this right

New one on me...a brand new bird maybe, but can't see the harm if you've had it a while.The bird shouldn't get stressed if it's used to you.

I would treat a hand reared parrot the same as a puppy and introduce it to everything it will have to deal with in life while it is still young. A young parrot will accept new things much easier than an older one.

hi we have only had our bird for 2 weeks it is just settling down she is 18 months old she comes to me and my mum and sisters but wont go anywhere near my dad unless she is out and he is eating when she will land on him to see if she is going to get any will she accept him in time or is there anything he can do to reassure her we have been told all the usual they only go for one sex but wont give up
