how long till you can tell if eggs are fertile

plz help any advice is greatfully thankful i have 10 finches all paired up and started laying eggs can anyone tell me how long till i can tell if they are fertile plz thanx for any advice cheers lee

normally about five days till you can start to tell, buy yourself a candler, you can get them from a few places, ebay being one, by holding the light just up to the egg, you will see little vain in the egg, you can be pretty sure it will be fertile, have a browse on the net, you may be able to fine picture to show you an eggsample

i can only see yolk in the eggs at the min anyone no wats gonna happen if anything

Here's some information I've just copied for you.

At first, fertile and infertile eggs will look the same. After about 4-7 days from the last egg being laid, you can candle an egg (using an egg candler or a small flashlight) to tell whether or not it is fertile. A fertile egg will have a network of vessels running through it. Infertile eggs are clear with a little yellow spot where the yolk is. As time passes, fertile eggs will take on a blue/grey color (as the embryo grows inside).

the spot on yolk, in the early 2-3 days, means male fertilized the egg
