A little help, please?
Today, while heading to clean my birds' cage, my sister had mentioned the "Jelly beans" in the cage. I looked. They're definitely not jelly beans. They're eggs. There's two of them.
I've got two parakeets. I've had them for years, probably around 5 years.
Jess, who we've always assumed was female, isn't nesting or anything; they're just there.
How do I know if the eggs are fertilized? What should I do?
Thanks in advance,
Rob.
Update #1;
Okay, so, as I've said. I've got two birds. The one we assumed was male, is now nesting... He's herding both eggs close together, and laying on them.
I haven't been able to check whether they're fertile or not, with a flashlight or anything.
