Female harassing male

We have 2 canaries we've had Charlie for a while now and I think he's 6 months old got Lola yesterday she's about 3/4 months old. They have gotten on well over the last 24 hours. But she seems to be harassing him, following him around the room constantly. They have been kissing this morning but then they got in 2 fights so I've separated them. The only information I can find is about the male harassing the female but this isn't the case. Can anybody shed some light on it? Do they need to be separated or is this breeding behaviour?
