Re: Plz i need help in canary

If you no so little about them then i wouldnt breed at all or take the eggs away.

The male will probably become aggressive and when the chicks wean they will fight aswell probably with their own parents.

You will probably need around 6 small cages. One for each bird to prevent fighting.

OR a very large cage. Over 4ft.

REALLY DONT BOTHER! then there is costs of the special foods you need to feed them which isnt cheap for a kid.

And then trying to get rid of them! Nobody really wants canaries anymore. Not from a novice anyway.

Sorry if im coming across as mean but im just stating what i think.

These are the sorts of cages needed. as when the babies are weaned you seperate them with the slide.

As a canary can have up to 4 chicks you would need 3 of these i should think. 2 per cage with a slide between them. But even these are rather small, You could only do that on a temp basis

Agree with all that has been said, you are not going to make money which going by your other thread is what you want

issaim, you seem to think you are going to make money from breeding canaries I keep telling you its not that easy for the last time you need

1.cages for each pair (breeding cages)
2.nest pans at least 2 in each cage plus nest material
3.eggfood

Canary breeding is not a way to make money they have a 3 month breeding season it is a hobby and if you sell any surplus stock it will not even cover your outlay if you have reared them properly
