Re: breeding

Zebra Finches and bengalese finches are good to start with as they more or less breed like fire once they get started, but you always got to make sure they are recieving the right suppliments in there food, such as calcium and egg foods etc etc , if they are in an aviary and have an abundant supply of food, they will breed and breed, depending on if you have supplied nesting stuffs, such as good nest boxes and hay make a perfect environment for them to get going

Re: breeding

Hi Becky
I had a neighbour for a while who pred parrots, and each pair of birds had a seperate aviary or compartment within an aviary. There may be some birds which will breed communally in a very large aviary, but she didn't have any of these. She bred mostly macaws and cockatoos. A parrotid aviary needs to be much stronger than one for other birds by the way.
