Breeding supplies

Hi can anyone recomend a good site to buy finch breeding supplies from, ie nest boxes, all the sites on google seem to be American and the postage charge makes it high cost,my local pet shop does not stock nest boxes.
Am looking for the type that can hang on the outside of a cage
Any help much appreciated thanks
Toby

Re: Breeding supplies

Wades cage fronts - www.wadescagefronts.co.uk

Why not make your own..not hard.Or find a local handyman. They're not cheap otherwise.

Wades plastic ones are good..front fixing and can be washed and reused over and over.

Re: Breeding supplies

Piece of

If you can use a hammer and saw that is... If they are going outside the cage make sure that if you make the top hinge for inspection. That you make a secure catch...don't want to lose birds. Not too small, about 6 inches square...deeper for gouldians.
A couple of cup hooks in the front will hook on bars. The top can be hinged by a couple of round nails through the sides into the lid.

Re: Breeding supplies

Re the bengalese, many breeders actually use two males to foster...they really are amazing little birds...with a few exeptions of course.
