Re: Cockatiels
The Cockatiel is known as the Quarrion and the Weiro, is the smallest and genuinely miniature cockatoo endemic to Australia. The Cockatiel is now biologically classified as a genuine member of Cacatuidae on account of sharing all of the Cockatoo family's biological features. Cockatiels are among the most popular pet birds. They are capable of mimicking speech, although they can be difficult to understand. However, they are quite good at whistling and can often be taught to whistle tunes.
